August 11, 2006 - The filing period officially closed with Robert Ming and Linda Lindholm
the only two people who had filed the required documents qualified as candidates, allowing the City Council to cancel the election
and appoint Robert and Linda to the council. |

July 17, 2006 - Robert Ming and Linda Lindholm are the first two candidates to
pull papers and officially begin their candidacy for the two open City Council seats on the November ballot. |

July 2, 2006 - The Ming family attends the Laguna Niguel Republican Women's
BBQ lunch in the park and a great time is had by all. Special thanks to the women of LNRWF for all they do for the
community. |

June 7, 2006 - Robert is honored to receive the Lion of the Year Award as he
assumes the Presidency of the Laguna Niguel Lions Club. The Laguna Niguel Lions Club is an excellent way
to become involved in the community and assist the sight and hearing impaired right here and around the

June 2, 2006 - Congratulations go to two very
deserving recipients of the Citizen of the Year award, Jerry McCloskey and Dennis Mulvaney. Best wishes
to both men and deep thanks for all their years of service to the community. |

June 1, 2006 - Together with 10 other candidates,
all exceptionally well qualified, Robert is nominated for Laguna Niguel Citizen of the Year.
The award is to be given out at a dinner on Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Sea
Country Senior Center. |

April 28, 2006 - Through his Chairmanship of the Government
Affairs Committee of the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce, Robert helps organize the second meeting
of the South County Coastal Chamber Coalition and the presentation of the first ever demographic study
of South Orange County as a distinct unit prepared by Professor Ed Feasel of Soka University. All report
a very successful event with such valuable information that it will likely become an annual project for
Soka and the regional chamber group. |

March 14, 2006 - Robert testifies before the Assembly Elections and
Redistricting Committee in support of AB 1855, a bill Authored by Assemblywoman Mimi Walters to implement

March 5, 2006 - Over 100 people attend a wonderfully successful
opening to Robert and Linda's campaigns, including four out of five Laguna Niguel City Council members,
elected officials from throughout Orange County and the many incredible volunteers that make any
campaign possible. Thanks to everyone for an incredible evening! |

Kick-off with Assemblywoman Mimi Walters at the beautiful home of David & Mimi Walters. Sunday, March 5, 2006, 3:00pm-5:00pm.
A $75 contribution per person ($150 per couple) to both candidates is suggested but only one is required. RSVP
